The Alabama SWANA Chapter is asking SWANA members to nominate people for awards recognition. We hope to honor several people with awards at the Fall Forum, scheduled at Lake Guntersville State Park. Below is the Nomination Form. Please nominate someone you know who is deserving of recognition. Just review each award description and turn in your form to the SWANA office by October 18th.

JACK HONeycutt Public sector award
The Jack Honeycutt Public Sector Award recognizes the efforts of solid waste management professionals who serve the pubic sector. The award goes to a professional who has demonstrated extraordinary competence, expertise or dedication in service to his/her employer, the general public, the solid waste profession, and/or Alabama SWANA.
Mcrory private sector award
The McCrory Private Sector Achievement Award is presented to a solid waste professional employed in the private sector who meets any or all of the criteria described above.
alfred s. chipley distinguished service award
The Alfred S. Chipley Distinguished Service Award is presented to a solid waste management professional or anyone who has made a truly significant contribution to the profession and/or the organization over a period of years.
